2018 Program Timeline
May - October 2017

Program promotion and awareness campaign.

October 6, 2017
Participation registration deadline. Confirmation of registration will be sent within 24 hours.  Companies will then receive an invoice within 15 days (unless payment is made online). Payment is due within 30 days of invoice receipt.

Registered companies choosing to withdraw from the process (by contacting a Best Companies Group representative) may do so by this date without incurring a withdrawal fee.
October 11, 2017
A Web link for the Email Upload Portal is emailed to the primary contact at each company to upload employee email addresses for survey distribution. The deadline to upload the file containing the email addresses is October 13 (online employee survey option only).

Deadline to submit the Employee Eligibility Checklist (paper employee survey option only).
Deadline to submit all employee survey customization requests (optional).
Deadline to submit requests for alternate language surveys (if applicable).
Deadline to request surveying additional employees (beyond the random sample or outside of Connecticut).
October 13, 2017

Deadline to submit employee email addresses to BCG via the Email Upload Portal. This is also the deadline to request any access codes for employees without company email addresses (online employee survey option only).

October 13, 2017

A web link for the online BCG Employer Questionnaire will be emailed to the primary contact at each of the registered companies.

October 20, 2017

Paper version of the employee survey and postage-paid return envelopes are mailed UPS to the primary contact at participating companies for distribution (paper employee survey option only).

October 27, 2017
Completed online Employer Questionnaires are due.

November 3, 2017

Online Employee Engagement & Satisfaction Survey invitations are sent via email (online employee survey option only).
November 8, 2017

Deadline for paper version of the employee survey (paper employee survey option only).

November 17, 2017

Deadline for all online employee surveys (online employee survey option only).

  Late December 2017

BCG prepares and sends notification letters to the participants.

  January 2018

The “BCG Employee Feedback Reports” are delivered to companies. Only the Demographic and Comments Reports are sent at this time.

March 2018

Publication and event date for “Best Places to Work in Connecticut.” The "BCG Employee Benchmark Report" and "BCG Employer Benchmark Summary" are emailed to participating companies following the event.
